New York, NY — Home and Gardening icon Martha Stewart recently featured a segment on her Martha Stewart living television show with her new editorial director for gardening Stephen Orr displaying for viewers innovative tips to create a sustainable garden. A proponent of sustainable gardening, and the topic of his new book “Tomorrow’s Garden: Design and Inspiration for a New Age of Sustainable Gardening”, Stephen explains that “sustainable” simply means “not being wasteful, not wasting time, money, water and effort.”

The first of the sustainable gardening tips features two varieties of SYNLawn® artificial grass to which Martha proclaims “It looks real.” Stephen also points out the sustainable properties of the elements used in the construction of the synthetic turf including the soy-based backing and recyclable fibers.

We would like to thank Martha Steward Living, Martha Stewart and Stephen for discussing the benefits of using SYNLawn® artificial grass on the show, and encourage everyone to continue to tune into the television program and check out Stephen’s book.
