Hospitality industry turns putting “Green”

Tempe, Az — In what has become a growing trend within the travel industry, more and more hotels are adopting ecologically conscious methods of becoming more "green".

From simply recycling daily paper and plastic waste, to finding innovative ways to conserve energy and resources. More and more, the hospitality industry has taken on an environmentally-responsive culture, even when it comes to creative way to entertain hotel guests.

Such is the case with Hyatt Place hotel near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Offering guests a chance to improve their short game golfing skills, the hotel features a large 3,600 sq. ft. custom putting green using SYNLawn’s Golf System.

The area originally covered with landscape rock xeriscaping now hosts a beautiful, professionally installed artificial grass putting green hotel guests can practice on just a few steps outside their hotel rooms. This isn’t a miniature golf course either, the putting green uses the latest in artificial golf grass technology, paying attention to the details, to give users the most realistic ball-roll conditions possible.

"The guests in the hotel love the putting green." comments one staff member "It gets them out of their rooms and gives them something fun to do."

Originally spec’d for an entirely different project SYNLawn’s quality landscape products inevitably led the contractors to take a closer look at SYNLawn’s Golf System products.

Chosen for SYNLawn’s high-quality artificial grass, wearability and price, the hotel’s private putting green continues to make a lasting impression with visiting travelers.

SYNLawn and SYNLawnGolf continue to work together in an exclusive partnership with golf guru Dave Pelz to research and develop the most complete, realistic golf experience in the artificial turf industry.
