A major step forward in playground fire safety

image of fire safe artificial grassDalton, GA — SYNLawn SYNBermuda Premium 200 and SYNRye Premium 250 have received the coveted Class One fire rating (ASTM E 648) offering increased safety when artificial grass is installed on playgrounds or other fire sensitive applications. SYNBermuda Premium 200 and SYNRye Premium 250 are now the ONLY infill-free artificial lawn products deemed to be “fire safe” for installations in both outdoor and indoor settings. Other companies must add infill in their products to make them safe. SYNLawn SYNBermuda Premium 200 and SYNRye Premium 250 are made of an innovative fire safe nylon requiring no infill.

The tests were conducted by the renowned Testing Services International Inc., in full compliance with government (ASTM) standards. It’s expected that the new certification will have immediate impact on the industry.

SYNLawn SYNBermuda Premium 200 and SYNRye Premium 250 combine durability and aesthetics making them ideal for any environment. Fire officials have sought a way to make playgrounds safer for our children in ways that can look and feel more realistic and fire safe. Recreation departments and school systems can now be confident in using a synthetic lawn product that will enhance the safety of any playground project.

SYNLawn spokespeople are available for interviews, in-studio, by satellite, phone or Skype.
