We love to answer your questions. Whatever you need to know, you can feel free to call us toll free at 866-SYNLAWN or in the comments section found below. When we say”ask whatever,” please make it related to artificial grass, because we don’t know when gas prices will drop or if the last 8 episodes of The Sopranos are going to be any good.
hdfaber asks: Please tell me where I can buy it. A: To purchase SYNLawn, you’re one phone call away. Calling 866-SYNLAWN will get you connected to one of our friendly and well-informed sales representatives, who would like nothing better than to sell you some of the best synthetic turf available. Dan asks: Is it possible to "glue" synlawn to a cement dog run area? If so what are the requirements to do so. Thanks for any info. Then Adam asks: Can this be glued to a concrete patio where snow will at times stay on it for several days. A: SYNLawn grass can be applied over concrete, but the issue is the type of adhesive you use. Contact us for the best adhesive to use for your application. Only the right glue will withstand heat and water. Mark asks: I'd like to spec one of your non-infilled products on a project in the Turks and Caicos Islands and need either downloadable or, at least, printable specifications. The flash versions on your website don't allow either. Can you direct me to or send me relevant specs and installation instructions? A: For installation instructions, synlawn.com offers detailed videos showing suitable methods for installation. For more detailed product specs, visit synlawn.com/architect. This site requires registration, but it does offer additional information. Once again, you can always call 866-SYNLAWN and speak to one of our sales representatives. Jon asks: Question about the staking technique? Is it safe to have nail heads buried under the grass? What if kids are playing on the lawn and fall down can they scrape their knees on these nail heads? A: The stakes used in a SYNLawn installation are buried deep and covered by the grass. If you have turf that is being pulled up constantly, we suggest keeping an eye on your turf and periodically knocking the stakes back down. We also suggest not pulling up the turf, but it’s your yard. Bruce asks: We installed SYNlawn Premium Blue in the fall of last year in the back and side yards. We had it installed because we have a swing set, trampoline, and we put in a pool. When people come over they have to touch it to make sure it is a synthetic product. We like it because it looks nice, no dead spots where the dogs go or under the trampoline. We had Premium Blue installed because of the fact it has no in-fill. We didn't want the little black BB's tracked into the house or in the pool. In the side yard the product is laying down and it looks like a rug, not grass. Is this suppose to happen in less then a year after it was installed? What can be done to correct the problem? Thank you for your help. A: All you have to do is use a powerbroom, plastic rake or vacuum to bring the blades back to attention. Deb asks: This synthetic lawn seems to be a great alternative to grass and to xeriscaping. But I have not seen anywhere yet how synthetic grass may affect the environment. Does it leach any chemicals into the ground water over time? If I have a vegetable and/or fruit garden near my artificial turf, will I have to worry about contaminating my produce? A: SYNLawn has been tested for these very issues and we’re pleased to announce that there is no leaching of foreign agents into the ground beneath the SYNLawn application and flowers and vegetables nearby have not been negatively affected. Again, feel free to call us toll free or comment in the space below if you have any further inquiries.
