One of the benefits of applying SYNLawn artificial grass to your landscape project is that you can put the turf just about anywhere, anyway you want. We’ve been receiving feedback from satisfied homeowners and landscape architects that the convenience of SYNLawn’s synthetic grasses is greatly appreciated.
The ease of install allows for more realistic looking installations, specifically when it comes to installing synthetic turf around trees. Many trees require “breathing room” at the base so air can be exchanged and roots can receive the oxygen they require. When planting a new tree, it is important to allow moisture to reach the root ball, but you don’t want to place the irrigation directly against the trunk. Another reason to add the ring around the trunk is because trees grow. We know you know that trees grow, but sometimes it’s one of those obvious facts that is overlooked when the excitement of installing the new turf is taking place. For more information about preferred techniques when installing SYNLawn turf around trees, check out the article titled Tree Installation Techniques in the archives from February 2006.
