Local owners of artificial turf companies, however, have begun spreading synthetic grass across Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 2005, Finley Stadium's Gordon Davenport field was covered with artificial turf by Universal Textile Technologies Inc. based in Dalton, Georgia.
