SYNLawn receives IPEMA certification

As a proud member of IPEMA (International Playground Equipment Manufacturers Association), SYNLawn is proud to announce the certification of 6 playground installation methods.

When it comes to your kids, nothing is more important than safety. That is why SYNLawn continues to refine our synthetic turf products and installation standards for IPEMA compliant SYNLawn Playground Systems.

With an IPEMA certified installation you can rest easy knowing your SYNLawn Playground System is a safe play area tested by an independent 3rd party, specific to public safety. SYNLawn also offers customers a Certificate of Compliance verifying an IPEMA certified installation.

In the interest of public safety, The International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association “IPEMA” provides a Third Party Certification Service where an independent laboratory validates a participant’s certification of conformance to ASTM F1292 Standard for Impact Attenuation of Surface Systems Under and Around Playground Equipment safety standards for their products.

In addition to the safety components of an IPEMA certified installation, SYNLawn was among the first to recognize the need to create grass products and alternate installation methods incorporating additional safety measures when it comes to play areas. With a fastener-free installation SYNLawn’s playground systems remove the possibility of little ones being injured by sharp objects.

Additionally, SYNLawn’s exclusive Heatblock Technology™ reflects infrared rays from the sun for cooler surface temperatures. Furthermore, SYNLawn’s playground systems may also include exclusive TrampleZones™ in high-impact areas to increase child safety and extend the lifespan of the play area.

Certified installation methods include the use of:

• SYNTipede 351 (9’ critical fall height)
• SYNTipede 322 (10’ critical fall height)
• SYNGreen 200 (9’ critical fall height)
• Two methods using SYNLawn’s basix 100 (5’ and 9’ critical fall heights)
