I have lots of oak trees that drop leaves and acorns. How to I keep the turf clean and will the leaves stain the turf?

Asked by: Dennis
Hello and thank you for your interest in SYNLawn! The maintenance for synthetic grass is quite easy. Most people find that a leaf blower is the easiest way to remove debris that falls onto the turf. You can also purchase a nylon bristle broom with straight edges to rake the debris away as well. You shouldn't have a problem with stains either. I have a link attached for you to that item and these are available at Home Depot. Once you make your purchase, we also provide you with Care & Maintenance Instructions so you will have all of that info to help you. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Natco-Tundra-Artificial-Turf-Rake-PRTZRAKE-SC/205050830?cm_mmc=SEM|THD|google|D23+Carpet&mid=sQ22TQxaS|dc_mtid_8903pdd25182_pcrid_63533564008_pkw__pmt__product_205050830&gclid=CLXZgfid7ckCFZBcfgod55YL2A I hope this information was helpful, but please let us know if we can assist further. Could you please send me the square feet price on this, including instalations. Is this material good for a pet daycare?

Asked by: Katia Pessanha
Hello and thank you for your interest in SYNLawn! I am unable to quote you pricing due to the fact that our products and installation vary from location to location. However, you if you call 866-SYNLAWN and enter your zip code, you will be transferred to your local SYNLawn distributor and they would be happy to provide pricing for you. As far as being good for a pet daycare, our SYNTipede is a great choice for a heavy traffic area like this. I would definitely talk to your local distributor about this and they can show you our best choices for this type of installation and give you some options. We do pet day care facilities all the time, including the Lucky Dog training facilities (if you have seen that show on CBS), so yes, absolutely, this is a great solution for pet areas! We hope to hear from you soon and have a great day!

What is the cost installed? Do Home Owner Associations allow it?

Asked by: Eugenio
Hello Eugenio and thank you for your interest in SYNLawn! The best way to acquire a price for product and installation would be to contact our local distributor and they can give quote you those prices. You can find your nearest distributor and contact information here: www.synlawn.com/contact. As far as HOA's go, that is difficult to answer as it is something that is decided by each individual board. It should be outlined in your handbook when you moved into the community, however, if for any reason they do not allow it, I would also discuss that with the local distributor to see if they can help. This is a never-ending process and we are always educating HOA's about the benefits of SYNLawn and why they need to allow it, so don't take NO for an answer and let the local distributor help if you need them to. I hope this information was helpful and thank you for choosing SYNLawn!

Could you give me a square foot price for a mid range product?

Asked by: Lindanbeaven
Hello and thank you for your interest in SYNLawn! I will try to give you a general price range, however, our MSRP's do vary from location to location. For a mid-range product, you are probably looking at about $3-5 per sq. ft., not including installation. I would strongly suggest you locate your nearest SYNLawn distributor and call them to ask them for pricing. You can find your closest distributor by visiting this page of our website: www.synlawn.com/contact. I hope this information was helpful, but if I can be of further assistance, please let me know! Which product is best in a desert location?  I want the product that will get the least hot.

Asked by: Dave
Hello Dave and thank you for your interest in SYNLawn! I too live in the desert so I understand your concerns about heat. That's why SYNLawn offers products with HeatBlock technology. This will actually make the grass about 20% cooler than other products on the market. Our local SYNLawn dealer in Palm Springs - Back Nine Greens, can show you these products and provide you with more information. You can reach them at 760-345-8008. I've provided you with some links below with more information about HeatBlock and also a link to a Comparison Chart which outlines which products carry this feature. http://www.synlawn.com/heatblock-technology/ http://www.synlawn.com/artificial-grass-products/residential-product-comparison/ I hope this information has been helpful but please let us know if we can be of further assistance. We hope to hear from you soon and thank you for choosing SYNLawn!

How does it do in snow?

Asked by: Jeanette
Hello Jeanette and thank you for your interest in SYNLawn! All of our products are made to be out in the elements, be it snow, rain, or full sun. As a matter of fact, some of our oldest installations are in Canada which have been exposed to all of the elements, especially snow. I hope this helps but if we can offer any further information, please let me us know. Thank you for choosing SYNLawn!
