When our friend Brian D. in England sent us a picture of his holiday house near Canterbury, we had to hear the tales behind what we saw. We saw how good his SYNLawn artificial grass application looked, but we had to know what else was going on in that backyard. Staking Techniques

We like to share installation techniques from time to time. This time around, we’ll share some suggestions regarding proper staking techniques. The recommended stakes for installation are 5.5" galvanized roofing nails. They should be galvanized to prevent rust. The head of the nail is approximately 1/4" in diameter.

From time to time, however, we’ll share some of the tips and techniques collected by our installers in the field. This issue we’ll be sharing some notes for the installation of synthetic grass around trees. First you want to make sure the irrigation lines are properly installed prior to installing base material. Mark the locations of the lines in order to avoid nailing through them.
