The homeowners wanted their vacation property to be enjoyed by their immediate family and their 50+ relatives, so it made sense to create a resort-type atmosphere offering a variety of recreational and entertainment amenities for everyone to enjoy. These luxury offerings include an outdoor lounge area, full-size basketball court, tennis court, bocce court, pickleball court, playground, archery range, axe throwing space, outdoor kitchen, swimming pool, and a hot tub.
Creating the Ultimate Family Entertainment Compound
SYNLawn Georgia was selected to help the homeowners create the ultimate family entertainment compound by installing premium artificial turf for the landscaping and the outdoor amenity spaces.
The team transformed the property into a luxurious vacation home by installing 16,000 square feet of SYNLawn’s USDA bio-preferred SYNAugustine 347 artificial grass. This faux grass has the most natural and realistic appearance to match the beauty of the surrounding area. They also installed 3,500 square feet of SYNTipede 243, which provides strength and resiliency. It will also keep everyone in the family clean and safe with its exclusive Super Yarn™ Technology that provides heat-reflective, anti-static, Sanitized®, and non-abrasive grass blades.
For the full-size basketball court that includes areas to play pickleball and tennis, SYNLawn Georgia installed 7,000 square feet of SYNCourt™ Sport Tile Court Surface. This type of surfacing is ideal for sports courts since there are 16 colors to choose from, so any design is possible. Homeowners can even personalize it with logos and designs. The homeowners customized this court with the University of Miami Hurricanes logos in each of the basketball lanes.
For this massive residential project, the team also had to build several large retention walls due to the elevation change in the yard, and they planted more than 400 plants. The final result of SYNLawn Georgia’s hard work is a one-of-a-kind vacation property that the homeowners will enjoy with their relatives for years to come.
