Miami, FL — The collegiate athletics department at Atlantis University is committed to expanding its sports program within the next three years. As a first step, the university wanted to upgrade its athletic department office space with a track and field-inspired artificial turf installation designed and built by SYNLawn Miami / Turf Guys Miami.
Creating a Unique Office Environment with Synthetic Turf
The highly skilled team at SYNLawn Miami / Turf Guys Miami has vast experience working on custom synthetic turf installations for commercial and residential clients. Ingenious Design Miami recommended them to Atlantis University for this one-of-a-kind project. SYNLawn Miami / Turf Guys Miami was excited to collaborate with the university to create a unique design for the hallways of the athletic department and inside the main elevator that would reflect the university’s mission to inspire its student-athletes.
To create an aesthetically appealing atmosphere, SYNLawn Miami / Turf Guys Miami installed 500 square feet of SYNPlay 48 to create the three-lane track featuring a custom color design of white and clay. This type of surfacing is ideal for an office space since it will withstand the daily foot traffic and reduce noise levels for a quieter workplace. It’s also more comfortable to walk on than regular flooring since it’s constructed with low-pile, low-friction grass blades that are combined with a shock-absorbing backing pad to reduce joint fatigue. Plus, SYNPlay 48 will provide staff and student-athletes with a more accessible facility that will easily accommodate people in wheelchairs or with other mobility issues.
