DEL MAR, Calif. — The historic Del Mar Race Track operated by the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is most famous for its 1938 Seabiscuit vs. Ligaroti match race and is also the second-largest horse-racing venue in the Western United States. As renowned for their world-class horse racing as they are for hosting many of the area’s best national touring concerts, weddings, and local events including the San Diego County Fair, the club receives more than a million visitors at their facility throughout the course of the calendar year.
