Rock Springs, WY — The Young at Heart Center has proudly served the Rock Springs and Sweetwater County community since its founding in 1973. Originally designed to help the senior population, today, the center offers a unique combination of an Early Learning Center and a Senior Center. Seniors have an opportunity to bring their grandchildren to the child daycare center, which features a newly enhanced, vibrant, poured-in-place playground surrounded by SYNLawn artificial grass. Seniors can enjoy building community while spending time with their grandchild; what a great concept.
Enhancing the Playground Experience
We were excited when the children’s director at Young at Heart Early Learning Center, Brianna Romero, elected to partner with the team from SYNLawn Mountain West. Brianna asked for an enhancement of their play and lounge area, which initiated the Poured-in-Place Playground Project. The finished product is beautiful and the community periodically sends messages about their space appreciating the teams’ creativity on the sun design and complimentary turf integration.
To complete the custom Playground design, approximately 1,100 square feet of PIP rubber was poured in multiple colors with approximately 3,200 square feet of SYNAugustine X47 artificial grass was installed complete with an underlayment of SYNLawn’s 1.5″ Fall Pad™.
