Huntsville, AL — The Cottages at Old Monrovia recently enhanced their 360 luxurious units with sustainable synthetic grass by SYNLawn. Developers chose SYNLawn Alabama to complete the installation at all its units, including one, two, and three-bedroom cottages, duplexes, and townhomes. This residential community offers renters cottages that fit the unique needs of the occupants. Community owners desired maintenance-free yards for each home to align with its mission to, “love where you live.” Additionally, turf yards help with water conservation community-wide, adding an extra benefit to the Cottages of Old Monrovia.
This impressive installation took place over the course of eight months at every unit in the community. SYNLawn Alabama owner and operator Cullen Elam worked closely with the owners to complete the varying installation. In fact, each yard ranged from 150 square feet to 750 square feet in size, making them unsuitable for a one-size-fits-all solution. Elam’s team had to endure a lot of preparation and heavy lifting to complete the project, including collaboration on a unit-by-unit plan. Elam’s team demonstrated organization and attention to detail that was left unmatched by the competition.
Life at The Cottages at Old Monrovia
Huntsville is rapidly growing in development and population, making it the perfect location for The Cottages at Old Monrovia. This residential complex spans 25 acres and is home to stand-alone cottages, townhomes, and apartments. The developer, Capstone Communities, has a successful history of constructing rental properties in the student housing industry. Recently, Capstone Communities has decided to expand its reach to include a more diverse tenant.
Life at the Cottages at Old Monrovia aims to feel more like a residential neighborhood over a rental space. To help residents feel more at home, the developers included many amenities throughout the community and privately fenced-in backyards. The community amenities include a pool, electric car charging stations, garage parking, full-sized washer and dryers in the units, modern kitchens, and more. In addition to those, each yard has USDA-certified bio-based SYNLawn artificial grass.
