Columbus, GA — To enhance the training experiences available to Fort Benning Army personnel, as well as officers of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), SYNLawn Georgia was selected to install a new firing range featuring SYNLawn’s premium synthetic turf surfacing.
Installing Safe and Sustainable Turf at Fort Benning
SYNLawn Georgia was chosen for this important government project since it offers the cleanest, safest and greenest artificial turf on the market. The team installed approximately 26,500 square feet of SYNLawn’s SYNSport to create the custom pre-fabricated firing range at Fort Benning. This premium turf surfacing offers unmatched resiliency and support.
The product used for the firing range is also a sustainable turf choice since SYNSport is made with SYNLawn’s exclusive plant-based EnviroLoc+™ backing system that replaces up to 60% of the petroleum-based polyol with renewable soybeans. Additionally, the eco-friendly turf will help Fort Benning reduce its water usage since it does not require watering for maintenance like regular grass.
The SYNLawn Georgia team was proud to help create a first-rate firing range that will benefit the Fort Benning military personnel and officers of DHS and ICE.
