Designing a Recreational Paradise with Synthetic Turf
Introduced to the homeowner by Watermark Pool & Spa, the team from Goat Turf/SYNLawn Tennessee was hired to install a swimming pool in the backyard that would complement the aesthetics of the new home. The homeowner wanted to make use of all areas of the outdoor space. His vision for the project was to incorporate luxury, usability, and comfort into the design of the backyard oasis. Goat Turf has vast experience transforming residential properties using SYNLawn’s finest quality artificial turf. They worked closely with the homeowner to create his dream backyard.
The homeowner and his children are avid golfers, so Goat Turf installed approximately 1,100 square feet of SYNLawn Golf Precision Putt and Tee Strike to create a putting green that delivers the same level of performance as a professional golf course. Precision Putt offers superior performance and ball control while delivering the most realistic putting experience available. Tee Strike enhances the experience by supporting a standard golf tee for a natural feel that golfers appreciate. This custom installation allows the golf-loving family to enjoy a challenging elevated green featuring numerous chipping options in the comfort of their backyard. Additionally, the pin layouts were strategically spaced to maximize the space and provide a variety of putting options, such as left to right, right to left, up and down, and vice versa.
Another fun and inviting recreational space is the custom bocce ball court that incorporates built-in seating and landscaping beds. The installation team used approximately 765 square feet of SYNPro Bocce, highly rated for its true ball roll performance, superior drainage, and overall aesthetics.
The other backyard areas can be used for playing, socializing, and relaxing. Goat Turf installed 8,085 square feet of SYNAugustine X47, offering durability and unmatched softness for comfort. They also installed 900 square feet of SYNTipede 243, one of the safest and cleanest turf options since it’s made with Super Yarn™ Technology.
