# UNR Launches First Indoor Golf Practice Facility in Northern Nevada Practicing golf in Reno just got a lot more convenient during the winter. On February 22, 2019, community leaders and the Nevada Wolf Pack Golf Teams attended the grand opening of the University of Nevada-Reno/Somersett Country Club heated indoor practice facility. A special video presentation by Celebrity Golf Coach Dave Pelz’s video was shown at the grand opening congratulating the Nevada Wolf Pack Teams on their new indoor practice facility. Now, players can practice at any time, in any weather to keep their skills sharp.
