SYNLawn Jacksonville helped bring a homeowner’s wish to life with the design and installation of an all-inclusive golf facility featuring areas to practice everything from putting to chipping, pitching, and full shots up to 200+ yards.

Designing a Premier Golf Oasis

The homeowner had previously played on a golf green that SYNLawn Jacksonville installed, so he knew they were the best team to understand his vision for a private golf oasis. The team worked closely with him to design and construct the over 30,000-square-foot facility.

The homeowner had played on another custom golf green that SYNLawn Jacksonville had installed and was impressed with the true ball roll performance of SYNLawn’s Precision Putt. They incorporated 9,000 square feet of this product into the design of the first practice green, which also featured the Dave Pelz ShotStopper. Both products are highly rated among golfers and provide the most realistic putting experience. The 11-hole short course was built with a hole every 5 yards from 50-110 yards with a stimp speed of 11-12+.

The second green was built directly behind the first installation. It was designed to allow the homeowner to practice longer shots from 140-175 yards. To enhance the practice space, SYNLawn Jacksonville added a tee box that offers a 200-215 yard shot. The team installed the second green using 4,500 square feet of Classic Pitch. It’s the best golf surfacing for practicing pitch and chip shots due to its superior ball roll performance and lasting endurance. It was more challenging to install due to the elevation of its location and the elevation of the first green. It resulted in a total elevation of more than 10 feet.

SYNLawn Jacksonville also installed a “striped” fairway, more tee boxes, and a 500-square-foot sand trap with G-Angle bunker sand. These custom areas were added using the following top-quality products from SYNLawn:
