Designing High-Rise Rooftop Amenities for Pet Parents and Golfers
The owners of One Chicago Apartments are golf lovers and dog owners, so they wanted both passions reflected in the amenities offered to residents. With years of experience building chic rooftop retreats for residential and commercial clients, SYNLawn Chicago quickly won the owners over with a design plan that makes One Chicago one of the few apartment buildings in the city to offer outdoor spaces for both pet parents and golf enthusiasts.
A Rooftop Pet Haven With a View
To create a 1,000-square-foot green space where pets and people can spend time together, SYNLawn Chicago installed SYNTipede 343. This lush artificial turf offers a soft, durable surface that keeps four-legged residents comfortable and safe while they play and socialize, and it stands up well to heavy traffic. The team also placed precut foam boxes beneath the turf to create mounds for the pups to run around and climb.
