Houston, TX — Berkeley Services and Strickly Green Grass just teamed up to help the city of Houston become a little greener and more cost-efficient. Together, they were able to solve a major landscaping issue and provide an environmental and economical advantage by installing SYNLawn and removing the grass around the building. SYNBermuda™ 200 was installed in two ground level planters in front of the Civil Courthouse in Downtown Houston on Caroline Street. These planters were not only an eyesore, but they created numerous complications relating to the growth of healthy grass and plants. As a result, they presented an ongoing maintenance issue for the city.

Thanks to SYNLawn, visitors are enjoying the benefits of the beautiful new artificial grass and the area is no longer problematic to the city. The City of Houston will be able to reduce its maintenance costs in that area as they no longer need to mow, water, weed, or use chemicals on the new SYNLawn. Way to go City of Houston for promoting a greener, more economical way to landscape.
